What is Girl Math Society?
Girl Math Society is an experience-led events community in Istanbul where women meet new people, try new things and socialise together. We meet in different corners of the city to learn something, move, eat well and, above all, talk.
We design our events so that meeting people and starting a conversation feels easy. Most of our guests come alone; coming alone isn't strange here, it's part of the Girl Math experience.
What kind of events do we host?
The calendar changes every month, but our Istanbul events usually fall into one of these six themes.
Creative workshops: From flower arranging to hat design and bowl making: get-togethers where you create something with others and take home something you made yourself.
Pilates and wellness: Pilates on a boat, movement sessions and meet-ups that make you feel good. Our co-founder Zeynep Yüzgeç is a pilates instructor; movement is part of this community.
Brunches and dinners: Brunch meet-ups, breakfasts and long-table dinners. The food is the excuse; the real point is meeting people at the same table.
Themed nights: A Bridgerton-themed flower workshop, a day as Hürrem Sultan, Wrong Dress Code: the dress code, the décor and the programme all tell the same story.
Sport and adventure: Padel, a shooting range, ATVs and activities you've never tried. Never done it before? No problem; most of us are trying it for the first time.
Bosphorus and outdoors: Days on a yacht, horse safaris on the beach and outdoor plans away from the noise of the city.

How do tickets work?
Pick your event: Each event page lists the date, time, venue, programme and price. Not sure? The Girl Math AI quiz suggests the right event for you.
Buy your ticket securely: You pay by card, secured by iyzico; your card details never reach us. If two of you are coming, a duo ticket (when available) is better value.
Your QR ticket is ready: Once your payment is confirmed, your ticket appears as a QR code under My Account → My Tickets. Just scan it at the door.
Come and meet people: Can't make it? Transfer your ticket with "Send ticket to a friend". If we cancel the event, we refund the full amount you paid.
Membership: Standard, Plus and Premium
You don't need a paid membership to join events. If you come often, Plus or Premium saves you money on every ticket.
Standard: Free. Join events, buy tickets and earn Girl Math Points at every event.
Plus: A member discount at every event and a peek into the Premium Album. Monthly, no commitment.
Premium: Member discount, pre-sale, waitlist priority, PR packages from brands and the Premium portrait corner.
Just for your group or company
We plan private events for groups of 6–12 (birthdays, hen parties, friends' get-togethers) and corporate events for teams and brands.

Are the events for women only?
Yes. Girl Math Society events are designed as a space where women can comfortably meet and socialise.
Where in Istanbul do the events take place?
Every event is at a different venue: by the Bosphorus, on boats, in workshops, restaurants and sports venues. The venue and time are on each event's page. From time to time we also meet in other cities such as Izmir.
How much do tickets cost?
Prices vary by event and are clearly shown on the event page. Many events offer a discounted duo ticket, and Plus and Premium members get a member discount at every event.
How do I buy a ticket and what do I show at the door?
Use the "Get My Ticket" button on the event page and pay by card via iyzico. Once your payment is confirmed, your ticket appears as a QR code under My Account → My Tickets; just scan it at the door.
What if I can't make it?
Event tickets are non-refundable and there is no right of withdrawal, but you can transfer your ticket to someone else with "Send ticket to a friend". If we cancel the event, or its date, time or venue changes, we refund the full amount you paid.
Do I need to be a member to join?
A free account is enough to buy tickets; there's no password, it opens in seconds with Google or a code sent to your email. Plus and Premium are optional subscriptions you can cancel at any time.
Can you organise a private event for my friends or my company?
Yes. We plan birthdays, hen parties and friends' get-togethers for groups of 6–12, and prepare corporate event proposals for companies and brands.
