Distance Sales Agreement

Last updated: October 2026

This Distance Sales Agreement has been concluded electronically between the parties whose details are given below, under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Regulation on Distance Contracts.

1. Parties

This agreement is deemed concluded between the Seller/Provider and the Buyer whose details are given above once the Buyer completes the event registration or membership subscription electronically and makes the payment.

2. Subject of the Agreement

The subject of this agreement is the electronic sale of the right to attend an event organised by the Seller and, where the Buyer so chooses, of a Plus or Premium membership subscription (Article 14), and the determination of the parties' related rights and obligations.

3. Seller / Provider Details

Company Name: Buse Mutaf MERSIS No: — Address: — Phone: +90 534 412 80 44 Email: info@girlmathsociety.net Tax Office / Tax No: —

4. Buyer Details

The Buyer is the natural person who confirms the order on the Seller's website or mobile app by entering their full name, phone number and email address at the payment step. This information is stored with the order record and included in the order confirmation email.

Invoice details (full name, Turkish ID number or foreign national status, and province) are not requested at purchase; the Buyer provides them after purchase under My Account → My Tickets. If they are not provided, the invoice is issued with the information available to the Seller in accordance with Tax Procedure Law No. 213 and related legislation. For foreign national Buyers, the invoice is issued with the general identification number provided for in the legislation (11111111111).

5. Purchased Service

The main characteristics of the service — the event name, date and time, venue, number of participants (tickets), total sale price including taxes and payment method — are shown to the Buyer in the order summary on the payment screen before the order is confirmed. The same information is sent to the Buyer in the order confirmation email and kept available under My Account → My Tickets. The information in the order summary forms an integral part of this agreement.

6. Event Date and Venue

The event will take place on the date, time and venue stated above. Event details are clearly announced on the website before purchase. Participants are informed in advance of any change of venue or date.

7. Service Fee

The service fee is the total amount including VAT shown to the Buyer in the order summary and approved by the Buyer; no additional fee is charged beyond this amount. The e-Archive invoice for the payment is issued on the basis of the invoice details provided by the Buyer and sent to the Buyer's email address.

8. Payment Method

Payment is made by credit card, debit card or other electronic payment methods through a secure payment infrastructure. Card details are not stored by Girl Math Society; payments are processed through the infrastructure of a PCI DSS-compliant payment institution (iyzico).

9. Performance of the Service

Once payment has been completed successfully, the ticket is made available to the Buyer with a QR code under My Account → My Tickets (on the website and in the mobile app); event participation details may also be sent by email, SMS or WhatsApp. No physical tickets are sent. The right to attend is valid only for the event concerned; it may be sent to another person only through the "Send ticket to a friend" feature on the website or in the mobile app; gifts (for tickets you purchased) are unlimited and transfers are limited to one every 30 days per account. On transfer, a new QR code is generated for the new holder and the previous QR code becomes invalid.

10. Pre-Information

The Buyer acknowledges having read and approved, before completing the purchase, the pre-information form containing the event details, price and cancellation and refund terms. The pre-information form is an integral part of this agreement.

11. Right of Withdrawal and Related Exceptions

Under Article 48 of Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and Article 15(1)(g) of the Regulation on Distance Contracts, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts relating to accommodation, transport of goods, car rental, supply of food and beverages and leisure activities for entertainment or recreation that must be performed on a specific date or within a specific period.

The statutory right of withdrawal therefore does not apply to event participation services. At the time of purchase the Buyer expressly accepts that event tickets carry no right of refund or cancellation, except in the cases of cancellation or change by the organiser set out in Article 12. Please see the Cancellation & Refund Terms page for details. The right of withdrawal for Plus and Premium membership subscriptions is set out in Article 14.

12. Cancellation or Change of the Event

If an event is cancelled by the Seller, or its date, time or venue is materially changed, the Buyer is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid; if they prefer, they may move their ticket to the new date or to another event. The Buyer is notified of the change in advance; a Buyer who does not accept the change may request a refund within 48 hours of the notification.

13. Refund Terms

Once purchased, event tickets cannot be cancelled by the Buyer and the ticket price is not refunded. This rule applies regardless of how much time remains before the event and regardless of the Buyer's membership tier. Because venue, catering, materials, service provider and organisation payments are made in advance according to the number of participants, no refund is given for non-attendance either.

A Buyer who cannot attend may send their ticket to another person with the "Send ticket to a friend" feature on the website or in the mobile app. Sending a ticket they bought themselves as a gift is unlimited; a transfer because they cannot attend may be made once every 30 days per account. On transfer a new QR code is generated and the previous QR code becomes invalid.

Refunds made under Article 12 cover the whole order and are made to the original payment method: for card payments to the card used, via iyzico; for bank transfers (EFT) to the IBAN provided by the Buyer. Depending on the payment method, refunds may take 3–10 business days. Refund requests may be sent to info@girlmathsociety.net.

In exceptional cases outside these terms, the Seller may, at its sole discretion, offer a refund, credit or transfer to another event. Such goodwill gestures do not set a precedent and do not create any right in favour of the Buyer.

14. Plus and Premium Membership Subscription

The Buyer may purchase a Plus or Premium membership subscription. The subscription is a digital membership service that does not involve the delivery of physical goods and, for the duration of the subscription, provides the following benefits depending on the tier: member discounts on events and shop purchases; access to Premium Kulis content; and, for Premium members only, presale access, waitlist priority and the option to request PR packages, subject to sponsor and stock availability. The current scope of the benefits and the discount rates are shown on the purchase page.

The subscription price and period (monthly or yearly), including taxes, are shown on the payment screen at the time of purchase and approved by the Buyer. The subscription starts once the first payment is successfully received and, unless cancelled by the Buyer, renews automatically for the same period at the end of each period, on the day corresponding to the day of the first payment.

Renewal payments are collected through the subscription infrastructure of the payment institution iyzico (iyzico Abonelik) from the card the Buyer used at the start of the subscription, which is stored by iyzico. Card details are neither transmitted to nor stored by the Seller; they are kept only in iyzico's PCI DSS-compliant systems. If a renewal payment cannot be collected, the membership ends at the end of the paid period.

The Buyer may cancel the subscription at any time from My Account. Cancellation stops renewals for future periods; membership benefits continue until the end of the paid period. No partial (pro-rata) refund is given for the current period.

The Seller may change the subscription price with effect for the future. A price change is announced to the Buyer by email before it applies. Depending on the policy the Seller sets for that change, existing subscribers either continue at the old price or the new price applies from the next period. Where the new price is to apply, the Buyer may cancel the subscription before it applies, in which case the subscription will not renew at the new price.

The membership subscription is not covered by the exception for date-specific events referred to in Article 11; under the Regulation on Distance Contracts, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from the subscription contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason. However, under Article 15 of the Regulation, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for services whose performance has begun with the consumer's consent before the withdrawal period expires. The Buyer accepts that they consented to immediate performance of the service at the start of the subscription and that the right of withdrawal therefore ends once the service (e.g. a member discount or presale) begins to be used; if the service has not been used at all, the Buyer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of the start of the subscription. Notice of withdrawal may be sent to info@girlmathsociety.net or through the Seller's contact channels; the amount paid is refunded to the card used for payment within 14 days at the latest of the notice reaching the Seller.

PR packages consist of gift and sample products provided by brands; they are gifts and are not the subject of a sale. The content, quantity and brand of the packages vary depending on sponsor and stock availability; no particular package, product or quantity is guaranteed. PR packages may be requested only by active Premium members, subject to stock and the request period, and once per package.

15. Girl Math Points Rules

Girl Math Points is a free loyalty programme offered by the Seller to its members. Points are held only in the Buyer's member account on the website and in the mobile app.

Earning points: The Buyer earns 1 point for every 1 TL actually paid in cash or by card for event tickets; the part covered by discounts or points does not earn points. Points are earned only on attendance and are added to the account when the ticket is scanned at the event entrance (check-in). Example: events paid 1,500 TL, 2,500 TL, 4,000 TL and 5,000 TL earn 1,500, 2,500, 4,000 and 5,000 points respectively; total spending of 20,000 TL earns 20,000 points (worth 500 TL, 2.5% back).

Bonus points: When a friend who came through an invitation link attends their first event (their ticket is scanned at the event entrance), the friend receives 1,000 welcome points (25 TL). The inviting member receives points according to their own membership tier: a Premium member receives 2,000 points (50 TL), or 4,000 points (100 TL) instead if the invited friend also joins Premium membership; a Plus member receives 1,000 points (25 TL), or 2,000 points (50 TL) instead if the invited friend also joins Premium membership; a Standard member receives 500 points (12.50 TL). Referral rewards are given once per invited person; invitations between accounts belonging to the same person, phone number or identity details do not qualify, and a member can receive at most 10 referral rewards in 30 days. A member who rates an event they attended receives 200 points (5 TL) once per event; no rating points are given for events not attended. A member who renews their Premium membership within the period stated in a win-back notification receives 1,000 points (25 TL).

Point value and use: 1,000 points are worth 25 TL (100 points = 2.50 TL; 10,000 points = 250 TL); the discount amount is rounded down to the kuruş. At checkout, points can be used as a discount on event tickets and shop orders for up to 50% of the order amount after the member discount. Points can also be converted, at 2,000, 4,000 or 10,000 points, into a personal discount code worth 50, 100 or 250 TL that is valid only in the Buyer's own account, single-use and valid for 90 days; if the code is not used in time, its points are returned to the account.

Expiry: If there is no points activity (earning or using points) in the account for 12 months, all remaining points expire. A reminder is sent to the Buyer 30 days before expiry. Expired points are not restored.

Nature of points: Points are not cash; they cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another account or sold. Points earned from a refunded order and reward points tied to that order are reversed; points used on the order are returned to the account. When an account is deleted, its points and unused codes are deleted too. If abuse (fake or multiple accounts, self-referral, etc.) is detected, the Seller may cancel points obtained this way and close the account concerned.

Right to change and end the programme reserved: The Seller reserves the right to change the earning and point value rules prospectively and to end the programme. Changes and termination are announced on the website and in the mobile app at least 30 days before they take effect. If the programme is ended, existing points can be used for 30 days from the announcement.

16. Dispute Resolution

Disputes arising from this agreement fall within the jurisdiction of the Consumer Arbitration Committees at the Buyer's place of residence or where the consumer transaction was made, within the monetary limits announced annually by the Ministry of Trade, and of the Consumer Courts for disputes exceeding these limits. The Buyer may also send complaints and requests to the Seller's contact details given above.

17. Entry into Force

This agreement enters into force and becomes binding on both parties once the Buyer approves the purchase electronically. A copy of the agreement is sent to the Buyer by email.
